About Me

People won’t admit it, but we’re drawn to marketing materials enhanced with images…this is especially true of presentations.

My favorite drawings are still those where no rules apply, and I learn the most from cartoons with zany characters that refuse to adhere to the rules of physics. Not to worry, though, I still enjoy putting together presentations, creating engaging diagrams and illustrating realistic graphics.

I specialize in vector art, brochure design and children’s illustrations. Most recently, I created a line of 2-D characters- all with unique traits and story lines-which I hope to eventually compile into a book. You can see them all at Squishy Monsters.

The majority of my successes relate to my ability to provide a creative edge to any project, while a scientific background comes in handy for any project that requires the appreciation of biology (and the accurate rendering of any images).

If you need someone to do both your illustrations AND writing, I am completely comfortable with that as well. After all, my mom says I am an excellent writer (even though she speaks absolutely no English).

I’ve always had an interest in art, and while no one appreciated the Crayola creations I scribbled on the kitchen walls as a child, my skills slowly grew with me.

My childhood was spent traveling between the Middle East and Germany, but I eventually came back to the U.S to pursue a higher education. The idea of studying art never occurred to me; I practically infused my brain with everything BUT art, leaving the university with degrees in International Relations, Animal Biology and German. I graduated with honors, even if my notes were littered with cartoons and sketches.

I currently live in Northern California and am always interested in being a part of any creative project.
